Among the various Biotechnology courses, Biotechnology Engineering courses play an important role to explore Biotechnology industrial applications at a large scale. 10. Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi

IIT-BHU was formally Institute of Technology under the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) which is a public central university. IIT-BHU is established in 2012 from IT-BHU.

IIT-BHU ranks in the eleventh position in India in NIRF Ranking 2020 under the Engineering category. IIT- BHUs School of Biochemical Engineering department also offers many Biotechnology engineering courses.
